WORKSHOP: Yandex Panoramas

Yandex is one of the world’s leading search engines and web information portal which offers many different internet services such as news, e-mail to users as well as search for information on internet and according to data from ComScore, Yandex is being preferred by more than 100 million users all over the world.

Yandex Panoramas will be explained and a panoramas application will be planning to practise for participants of the congress lively by Yandex Team.

WORKSHOP: Digiflame Productions

Digiflame Productions is a post-production firm which has achieved modelling historical places and reviving historical events in many famous projects such as “Muhteşem Yüzyıl”, “Dersimiz Atatürk”, “Çanakkale Yolun Sonu”.

They will explain how they model historical places and events with computer, which technologies and resources are used to model them, which steps the production part of the modelling process includes etc. at the congress. Also they will share some of their special works with participants of the congress.

 PANEL: Usage of Current Technologies in Museology

Experiences will be shared about using technology for museology by famous museums of Turkey.

PANEL: Software Technology and Database Usage in Historical Artifacts

Different studies and projects which are on Software Technology and Database Usage in Historical Artifacts, will be shared and discussed.

ICSFI aims to examine the field of history through the frame of informatics at the international level, to evaluate past and present in this area, to touch on challenges and to offer solutions to problems, to share experiences on the subject in Turkey and World, to allow new approaches and to shape future of the “Techno&History”.

* Paper Submission

This is a blind peer-reviewed congress. Authors are invited to submit their papers in English through the congress submission system by August 29, 2014. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously.

Submission fee is 75 TL (30 Euro) and also the congress is free for the audience.
